PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) or Pelindo Regional 2 Cirebon, in collaboration with the Cirebon Class II Port Authority Office (KSOP), launched the implementation of the Single Truck Identification Document (STID) and the Unloading Workforce Monitoring System (SIMON TKBM) at Cirebon Port on Friday, July 26, 2024.
SIMON TKBM and STID are part of the implementation of the National Strategy for Corruption Prevention (STRANAS PK) program launched by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia.
The program’s launch was attended by associations and service users at Cirebon Port. The event also featured a dialogue with several speakers, including the Director of Shipping and Maritime Affairs of the Directorate General of Sea Transportation Hartanto, the Director General of Customs represented by Chairul Anwar, STRANAS PK Expert Febriyantoro, Head of KSOP Class II Cirebon Een Nuraini Saidah, and Executive Director of Regional 2 Pelindo, Drajat Sulistyo.
Drajat explained that STID and SIMON TKBM are part of the STRANAS PK program for the Port, aimed at optimizing operational services, increasing transparency, and reducing bureaucracy.
“STID at Cirebon Port is the first non-container STID to be implemented in Indonesia. We are proud that Cirebon Port can be a pioneer for non-container ports, which will support 24/7 activities in a safe, orderly, and efficient manner,” said Drajat.
Director General of Sea Transportation, Capt. Antoni Arif Priadi, said in his online presentation that the STRANAS PK Program has been regulated in Presidential Regulation No. 54 of 2018. The basic regulations are even already in the Presidential Regulation.
“As for STID, it has been regulated in the Director General of Sea Transportation’s Decree, so all these programs also have support from the Government to ensure that Ports can operate optimally 24/7,” he said.
The Director of Shipping and Maritime Affairs of the Ministry of Transportation, Hartanto, added that STID and SIMON TKBM are concrete steps in improving the logistics index of ports in Indonesia. This digitalized logistics ecosystem is expected to make Cirebon Port more advanced.
STID, or Single Truck Identification Document, is an electronic system application for recording every truck operating at the Port. Its purpose is to support truck utilization activities within the Port area and optimize operational activities.
Meanwhile, Febriyantoro from the STRANAS PK Team explained online that with the STID, all trucks operating at the Port are ensured to be registered and fit for operation.
“Therefore, trucks that are not registered will not be allowed to enter the port,” said Febriyantoro.
KSOP Class II Cirebon Een Nuraini emphasized that SIMON TKBM is an electronic system application for recording data of Unloading Workers (TKBM) within the Port area. SIMON TKBM aims to optimize and digitalize the supervision function of TKBM.
“TKBM has a centralized digital database, making it easier to supervise the entry and exit of TKBM in the Port area and optimize services,” said Een.
She hopes that the launch of STID and SIMON TKBM at Cirebon Port will mark a new era of growth and development for Cirebon Port, allowing it to contribute more positively to the country and society.
